2009 IEEE Ottawa Section Outstanding Corporate Awards
OTTAWA, November 20, 2009. EcoVu, in the Clean-Tech category, is one of six Ottawa based companies receiving today the 2009 IEEE Ottawa Section Outstanding Corporate Award. "EcoVu is developing technologically and operationally superior ways to clean and manage water use for a broad range of industrial applications ranging from municipal water treatment to the nuclear industry," said Ray Novokowsky, President, EcoVu. "We're honoured that the IEEE has recognized the clear advantages of our approach and count this recognition as an important step in our development."

- Delphi Group, www.delphi.ca, for providing solutions in the areas of climate change, corporate sustainability, and community enhancement.
- Quadra Solar Corporation, www.quadrasolar.com, for Design and Development of iPYRAMID™, Concentrated High Efficiency Solar Energy System Utilizing HCPV Multi-Junction Cells.
On behalf of their winning companies, corporate executives will be accepting their awards at the IEEE Ottawa Section's Banquet on November 20, 2009, at the Hampton Inn on Coventry Road. The 7PM Banquet follows the IEEE Ottawa Section's 65th Annual General Meeting and will commemorate the IEEE's 125th Anniversary.

The IEEE Ottawa Section then selects recipients in hi-tech, clean-tech, and green-tech to receive awards in recognition of great accomplishment in their industry.
