BreconRidge Partners with Sanmina-SCI to Leverage RF/Microwave
and Micro/Opto-Electronic Capabilities
BreconRidge Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Sanmina-SCI (NASDQ: SANM),
a leading Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider. This acquisition will complement and
enhance Sanmina-SCI’s current RF/microwave and micro/opto-electronic capabilities
with a world class design and engineering team and state of the art manufacturing operations.
Ottawa, April 27, 2010 - BreconRidge announces that Sanmina-SCI has executed a definitive
agreement to acquire BreconRidge Corporation, an innovative Collaborative Design Manufacturer
for RF/microwave and micro/opto-electronic products that service the networking/communications,
medical, industrial, aerospace and defense markets.
The agreement is subject to certain customary closing conditions and is expected to close
in approximately 30 days.
In Sanmina-SCI’s Second Quarter Fiscal 2010 statement dated April 26, Jure Sola,
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, was quoted to say that "This acquisition strengthens
both our position and our customer base in RF/microwave and micro/opto-electronic technologies.
