Job Title: Administrative Assistant – Sales & Marketing and Customer Operations
Location: Kanata, Ontario
Status: Full-time
Purpose:
Reporting to the VP, Sales and Marketing, the successful candidate will independently carry out advanced and diversified administrative assistance directly for the VP, Sales and Marketing and the VP, Customer Service and to support the Sales and Customer Operations teams.
Specific Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and creation of customer presentations
- Involved in high level projects and initiatives of a complex nature within the sales and marketing functions
- Help develop and create professional tools including spreadsheets, correspondence and reports for external presentations to senior level individuals
- Work on projects with teams or as project lead or facilitator and contribute in the determination, investigation and application of best practice methods to resolve business administration issues of a complex nature
- Coordinating and consolidating meeting input information and presentation material to facilitate effective meetings for customer/program reviews
- Consolidation of reports from a variety of groups
- Gathering, reviewing, researching and summarizing or analyzing information
- Coordinating projects as assigned which may require handling information of a confidential nature
- Interfacing with executive/senior level external parties relating to information of a highly confidential, specialized or sensitive nature
- Providing training, guidance and advice to others as required
Skills/Qualifications/Education
- Have a high level of wide-ranging technical competency and general sales business acumen
- Generally requires post-secondary business diploma and 7 + years relevant experience
- Have strong customer focus and be comfortable communicating with senior level executives
- Advanced experience in Excel and PowerPoint is essential
- Experience with CRM tools is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience supporting a global sales team is an asset
- Have a desire and be able to work independently
