  Cyril McKelvie
President & Chief Executive Officer

Cyril McKelvie

Mr. McKelvie is the President & CEO of BreconRidge, as well as a founding member of the Company. He brings over 20 years of senior management experience in engineering, research and development and telecommunications operations. Prior to joining BreconRidge, Mr. McKelvie was General Manager of GSI Lumonics' optical division from 1999 to 2001.

Previously, Mr. McKelvie was Vice President of Operations for JDS Uniphase from 1997 to 1999. Under his tenure JDS' operations grew by more than 200% a year in both revenue and profitability. Prior to JDS, Mr. McKelvie held a number of key positions at Newbridge Networks in both research and development and operations from 1986 to 1997. In these roles, Mr. McKelvie was instrumental in building Newbridge's new product introduction process from its earliest inception.

   
  Doug MacCrae
Chief Financial Officer
Doug MacCrae

Mr. MacCrae is responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of BreconRidge’s operations including business planning, accounting, budgeting and financial reporting efforts.

Mr. MacCrae has more than 15 years experience in finance leadership positions in both public and private technology companies. Prior to joining BreconRidge, he held the position of Controller at Dy 4 Systems Inc. During his tenure at Dy 4 Systems, Mr. MacCrae was responsible for all financial affairs of this publicly traded company, (including the company’s Initial Public Offering on the Toronto Stock Exchange in 1993), acquisitions, and assisted in growing revenues to more than $75 Million. Mr. MacCrae also held increasingly senior positions at Computing Devices Company (now General Dynamics Canada) and is a Certified General Accountant.

 

   
  Jim Burke
Executive Vice President, Manufacturing Operations & Supply Chain
Jim Burke

Mr. Burke is the Executive Vice President Manufacturing Operations & Supply Chain at BreconRidge and is responsible for operations world-wide. Mr. Burke’s accountabilities include planning and execution of procurement and operations engineering of all electrical and microelectronics organizations.

Prior to joining BreconRidge, Mr. Burke was Executive Vice President of Operations at Vinci Systems (Tellabs) responsible for Fibre to the Home deployment of Optical Network Terminal BPON technology. Mr. Burke has held numerous senior management roles: COO of OZ Optics, VP Global Manufacturing for Newbridge Networks and General Manager of Primetech Manufacturing Operations (Celestica). Jim brings over 15 years experience in contract manufacturing and 20 years in senior management roles.

   
  Michael McGuire
Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Mike McGuire

Responsible for BreconRidge Global Sales and Marketing, Mr. McGuire brings a growth oriented approach to driving sales, as well as a high level of focus on customer needs and satisfaction. 

Over the past 25 years, Mr. McGuire has held senior management roles with leading Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) organizations, including holding the position of Vice President, Sales - Industry and Aerospace/Defense Market Sectors at Celestica. Prior to Celestica, Mr. McGuire was Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing at Plexus where he was responsible for reshaping, creating and directing the strategic direction of the sales and marketing structure for the organization. 

   
  Linda Nixon
Vice President, Human Resources and Administration
 

As Vice President of Human Resources and Administration, Ms. Nixon  is responsible for establishing the company’s overall people strategy, organizational development and effectiveness direction, as well as the delivery of innovative human resources initiatives and programs.

Ms. Nixon brings over 20 years experience in the development and successful execution of organizational and human resources strategies having held progressively senior and executive roles in the human resources management field including recruiting, compensation and benefits, corporate and employee development, leadership development, employee relations, and mergers and acquisitions in multinational companies. Prior to joining BreconRidge in 2001, Ms. Nixon held organizational development and human resources positions with Mitel Corporation and Mitel Networks Corporation.

Gary McElheron
Vice President, Information Technology Services

Gary McElheron

As Vice President of Information Technology Services at BreconRidge, Mr. McElheron is responsible for the information technology infrastructure across all BreconRidge sites globally.

Prior to joining BreconRidge, Mr. McElheron headed the Information Technology (IT) group at Innovance Networks, where he was responsible for IT management processes, applications, and implementation. Mr. McElheron has held numerous senior management roles with companies like JDS Uniphase, Newbridge Networks and Primetech Manufacturing Operations (Celestica). Mr. McElheron has over 25 years of IT management experience and an extensive knowledge of business processes and process reengineering.

Peter Shearing
Vice President, Customer Service
Peter Shearing

Mr. Shearing has been a key member of the BreconRidge leadership team since 2004, having held progressively senior positions within the Company, including Vice President, Global Program Management; General Manager, Kanata Manfacturing Operations; and Vice President, Operations Engineering. 

Before joining BreconRidge, Mr. Shearing held senior leadership roles with Nortel's Microelectronics operation, including Nortel's Optical Components, Global Operations NPI Engineering, Manufacturing Automation and Product and Test Engineering groups. Mr. Shearing also spent a number of years serving in the Canadian Forces, including 4 years as part of the NATO forces in Baden, Germany.

 

   
John Pokinko
Vice President, Design Engineering
John Pokinko

As Vice President of Design Engineering, Mr. Pokinko is responsible for delivering design engineering solutions in-line with customer needs, as well as managing the evolution of corporate technology and intellectual property.

Mr. Pokinko brings over 25 years of engineering experience and leadership in product design and development, technology and product portfolio management, and directing multi-site research and development teams.

Prior to joining BreconRidge in 2003, Mr. Pokinko held senior management roles at Nortel in product and technology research and development within the Microwave Modules and Optical Component organizations. During his time at Nortel Mr. Pokinko was instrumental in establishing technical foundations for the Microwave Modules line-of- business.
